Spent the weekend in Pokhara! Went paragliding and visited Phewa Lake and took a boat across to the world peace pagoda.
On Thursday we finished pur placement at Sunrise School. On Friday we moved from Kathmandu by bus to Pokhara - a journey which was supposed to last 6 to 8 hours but instead lasted over 19 hours due to a severe landslide, so we didn't arrive until 1am last night. Today we started work at the school. We are helping mostly to teach children from Kindergarden up to grade 4, helping with their English, maths and playing games.
After a day and a half of travelling we have made it to Kathmandu! Went for a walk through the dusty streets this evening, people are very chilled, traffic is mental!
So yesterday I did most of my packing - I'm amazed it all fitted in!
Today I have been looking over the details of the projects I will be working on.
