Conservation Project

Ghandruk

On Thursday we finished pur placement at Sunrise School. On Friday we moved from Kathmandu by bus to Pokhara – a journey which was supposed to last 6 to 8 hours but instead lasted over 19 hours due to a severe landslide, so we didn’t arrive until 1am last night.

We have now made it to a village in the Ghandruk area of the Annapurna Conservation area with direct views of Annapurna itself and are staying at a lovely guesthouse with amazing food and a dog!

So far we have done surveys on orchids And birds, and tonight we will go looking for reptiles.
